Patch notes - UnderGrav V1.2


Hello everyone !

What a crazy first week ! I did not expect so much people to see and play my game it this short amount of time :)
As such, I've been working hard on a first patch to try and dynamise the gameplay a bit, since it can feel kind of sluggish right now.

Patch Notes

Changes :
  • Increased ship speed.
  • Increased ship turning speed.
  • Increased sideways dampeners strength to compensate for the speed increase.
  • Tried to increase the overall stability of the ship.
  • Reworked checkpoints locations for "Time Attacks" races so that they can be anticipated.
  • Corrected an error about the downward gravity applied to ship.
  • Corrected some textures with extreme affine warping, which was unintended.
Known issues :
  • At high speeds, ship may become increasingly unstable.
  • Attacking corners at high speed may boost the ship's nose up (gravity thrusters detect the sudden change in road height).
  • Sometimes, checkpoints in "Checkpoint Hunt" mode count double or triple.

Plans for the future

I will continue working on this project, as there are still a lot of stuff I wish to add to the game :)
I'll be talking more about it at a later date !
